Guess the result of each match in a major sporting event, such as the FIFA World Cup.
- A sporting event comprised of multiple two-sided matches
- A way to record each players' guesses and points, such as an Excel spreadsheet or a printed chart
Prediction League is played over the course of a sporting event, such as a world championship. Before each match in the event, every player guesses the result (e.g. home win, away win or draw - not the actual score) and is awarded one point for each correct prediction. At the end of the event, the player with the most points wins.
The format and scoring can be adjusted to suit the sporting event in question. For example, matches in the four knockout rounds at the end of the FIFA World Cup can be worth two, three, four and five points respectively.
